Emailing Support

Email Companion Systems Support any OSC related question. To do this:

  1. {Help ⇒ Email Support} this will open a new email through your default mail client
  2. Type your question(s)
  3. Click Send on the email

Emailing the Error Log to Support

If OSC unexpectedly crashes, or you have contacted Companion Systems and they request this to be done, follow the below steps to email Companion Systems Support the programs log file:

  1. {Help ⇒ Email Error Log} this will open a new email through your default email client and attach today’s log file
  2. Type briefly what you were doing at the time of the crash
  3. Click Send on the email

Launching TeamViewer

Sometimes it becomes necessary for a remote session to be started giving the Companion Systems Support person remote access to your computer, allowing them to see and control your computer remotely. To do this:

  1. {Help ⇒ Launch TeamViewer}
  2. Read and Accept the Disclaimer
  3. Tell the Companion Systems Support person the session ID
  4. Refrain from touching your mouse and keyboard unless requested to, this is to ensure you and the Companion Systems Support person are not battling for control of your computer.
